What are the eligibility criteria for CANUCK study?

As long as you're age over 19 years and able to provide informed consent, you're eligible for the study.

What if I want to stop participating in the study midway?

Participating in CANUCK study is completely voluntary and you are able to withdraw at any time during the course of the study.

I'm worried my personal health information might get exposed.

Once you enroll in the study, all your personal information will be de-identified as you will be only referred by your subject ID. All data are stored in the database using 256 bit AES encryption at rest on SANs, and is hosted on a secure server within the UBC Center for Heart Lung Innovation at St. Paul's Hospital.
